The Official Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards TV Show 'Induction Ceremony & Concert' is where Hip Hop Legends & Icons are Inducted into the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Museum.

Eligibility requirements will be 20 years after your first record or album release or contribution to hip hop music & culture history! The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards TV Show was created
and executive produced by JT Thompson in 1992 and first taped for television at Harlem's Famous Victory 5 Theater in the 1990s.

The show was broadcast in national syndicated television and on the BET Cable Network in the 1990s Inducting DJ Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash, The Zulu Nation, Run DMC & Jam Master Jay, DJ Red Alert, and other hip hop greats. The show returned to television in June 2014 and Inducted The SugarHill Gang, Pioneer Female Groups The Sequence & The Mercedes Ladies,
The Movie WildStyle & Producer Charlie Ahearn, Chiefrocker Busy Bee, The Rap Attack Radio Show's Mr. Magic, Graffiti Artists Cornbread & Stay High 149, Original B-Boys The N-Twins, Ralph McDaniels of Video Music Box, and DJ Hollywood. The Awards Show is set to return
in 2023 on national and international television.

New Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards Committee
The Hip Hop Hall of Fame is a Chartered non-profit 501 c 3 Museum & Educational Institution will be establishing a new Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards & Nomination Committee to take the Awards TV Show and Inductions into the next generations!
The new body will put together the new rules and ploicies of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards Show and Nomination process and it will include establishing a new Board of Advisors who will make recommendations to the Hip Hop Hall of Fame for setting up the new institutional polies and governing principals for Inductions, Contributions, and Influencers of the Culture from all of its Elements and Social Impact nationally and internationally. This will form the future body of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame that will re-establish itself as the 'Official Home of Hip Hop Music & Culture History!'
